UV Absorbing Black Ink for Film Printing on Epson Ecotank Inkjet Printers

Glenview, IL — Absolute Inkjet, Inc., a Glenview, IL-based Manufacturer of digital inks and media, has launched Absolute Black VET inks for clear film printing on Epson Ecotank model printers. Absolute Black inks are made with a UV-absorbing dye which blocks light. They can be used in any tank on an Epson Ecotank model printer to print all black film negative/positive. This is for exposure applications like screen prints, flexo plates and photo engraving. For longer exposure times, Absolute Black VETinks offer superior light blocking than regular full-color inks. The inks can also be used to make films that are more resistant to scratches than other inks. Absolute Black VET inks can be purchased in ready-to use 140 ml containers for quick tank filling or in 1-liter bulk bottles.

The Absolute Black VET Inks can be used with all current Epson Ecotank models, and are particularly compatible for the Epson Ecotank Photo ET-8500/ET-8550, as well as the Epson Surecolor t3170x.

“These latest 13” and 24” wide Ecotank models from Epson are ideally suited for film positive or negative printing” explains Tony Martin, Absolute Inkjet President. “With Absolute Black VET inks installed, these printers produce deep black prints that can be exposed for longer. Using bulk ink makes them far more cost effective and reliable when compared to cartridge based printers.”
