Peachtree Packaging & Display Adds Barberan Jetmaster Digital Printer | Business
The first-ever digital printer allows plateless printing at high speed and customization.
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., May 9, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Peachtree Packaging & Display is thrilled to announce the addition of a Barberan Jetmaster to its printing infrastructure. The Series 1750 digital printer is a plateless model that allows Peachtree to print short runs and customized jobs with litho like quality. Together with Peachtree’s Gopfert Evolution, and other equipment the new addition provides customers with unparalleled digital print quality and efficiency.
Barberan Jetmaster Series 1750, a Spanish printer manufacturer, calls its technology “A New Era in Digital Printing” due to the single-pass capability. This printer is completely digital, and plates are not required. Eliminating plates from the printing process reduces costs and speeds up the completion of projects.
New printers allow for new levels of customization. The art can be altered at any time. Additionally, it has two stream printing where different project versions can easily be created in-line using the same print structure. There is no need to change structures and the maximum sheet size for the printer is 63.5 by 118. Peachtree Barberan’s printer is the only one in the industry with an attachment for post-printing coating.
Barberan Jetmaster offers a color gamut that is second to none in both range and quality. The advanced Pantone matching technology and extended color gamut of the Barberan Jetmaster gives projects a litho like print quality. Barberan produces images with a 600 DPI resolution. The UV inks and LED curing eliminate color mixing by ensuring the right size droplet. UV LED curing is also available with either a satin or gloss finish. This system ensures that the image is maintained while also reducing energy and production costs.
