Ceramist Kritika Soni Is Moulding Our Perceptions Of Beauty Using Asymmetry

The items that we choose to decorate our homes determine the comfort, joy and beauty of these places. Mass-produced products can dominate interiors, turning our homes into noisy spaces. Slowly produced items can give life to dull corners. The artist Kritika soni has taken this idea to the next level by transforming the stories of homes into handcrafted art.

This entire label’s philosophy, “Kara Sabi”, is inspired by the Japanese concept of “”.Wabi SabiThe idea behind this is to find the beauty within imperfection. It is a non-pretentious way to embrace handmade goods and dismantle the obsession we have with perfection. Kritika is inspired by nature’s unkempt beauty and rustic aesthetics. She uses clay and the unique patterns in our surroundings to translate their designs into unstructured art that captures unique sensibilities.
