Industrial Printer Shipments Show Modest Decrease in Q1 2022, According to IDC

NEEDHAM, Mass., June 14, 2022 – Industrial printer shipments declined 2.1% year over year in the first quarter of 2022 (1Q22), according to new data from the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Industrial Printer Tracker.

Tim Greene from IDC, Hardcopy Solutions research director said that the shipments in the first quarter of this year were relatively weak. The market faces supply chain problems, war and pandemics that can all lead to inconsistent supply-demand cycles.
