Printed Promotional products set to boom in 2023 (video)

Most Sign & Display printers are aware of the ‘lateral’ markets available to them, thanks to many having screen or pad printing backgrounds. The most prominent opportunities are t-shirts, caps, and coffee mugs. They can be branded with DTG, heat transfer, or dye-sub. Flags, banners and bunting can all be made in small runs on demand. Australian Promotional Products Association (APPA) is preparing for an unprecedented 2023 with five Roadshows, 2 trade shows and a record number of products.

APPA logoMutoh, Mimaki, and Roland DG offer benchtop UV printing systems that are versatile enough to apply almost any type of ink to nearly any surface and can last for years. With increasing demand, phone covers, conference folders and mouse mats are just a few of the many objects that can be made.

The APPA will engage in a busy schedule of trade and roadshows in 2023. This is in addition to the successful relaunch of events in 2022 following pandemic restrictions. Promo Show 2023 in Sydney’s Olympic Park will take place from August 16-17th. It is followed by NZ Promo Show in Alexandra Park on the following day.

APPA trade shows are a thriving tradition in the promotional products industry, and give distributors and suppliers a rare occasion to converge and conduct business in a face-to-face capacity. These B2B events are targeted at distributors and suppliers who supply products or services to the promotional product market.
