Winnipeg Printing Company Adds 2 New Pieces of Equipment To Production Facility

WINNIPEG, MB: PrintPro Digital & Offset Printing, a leading provider of printing services in Winnipeg, recently purchased two new pieces of equipment. PrintPro decided that it needed to upgrade its equipment in order to keep up with the growing demand for short-run print services.

To keep up with rising printing demand, the company needed to adapt its production capabilities. Two pieces of equipment are being installed by the company at their facility at 450 Provencher Boulevard:

The Duplo Perfect Binder It is used to make books. The exact type of binding is called “Perfect Binding”. This binding is very popular and can be found in most paperback books. The machine features a single clamp binding that provides strong binds and high-quality results for each use. This machine replaces an older, perfect binder. It can run short and long runs with a speed of 525 BPH (5 Books Per Hour). This machine is expected to reduce delivery times and lower the price of self-published books.

The Versant 4100 digital press with smart automation Xerox is PrintPro’s second production press. The Xerox Iridesse Production Press, which was also installed in 2018, will be complemented by this production press. The purpose of this press is to help increase production capacity on the company’s printing side. It’s designed to automate tasks to speed up the production process, including image-to-media alignment, colour calibration, and uniformity. It’s compatible with a wide variety of media types, including glossy brochures, window decals, business cards, and coated and uncoated papers.

“With the addition of this equipment, we can increase our production capacity and make our services more widely available to our clients across Winnipeg and across Manitoba,” said Gaurav Bhatt, one of the owners of PrintPro. “We are always looking for ways to ensure all of our clients are satisfied. And with even more equipment, we can offer even faster turnaround times on projects.”

PrintPro, a family-owned business, is operated by its founders. It was established in 1989. PrintPro’s printing services include business cards and marketing collateral as well as booklets, posters, stickers, graphics design and envelopes.
